Brazilian Rainbow Boas | Green Tree Pythons

Green Tree Pythons in my collection (not available for purchase)

"Bandit" was produced by Jeff Hudson in 2001. Both of his parents were from the Tony Nicoli High-Yellow Line. I purchased him as an adult in late 2005. I am hoping to pair him up with Morel in the fall of 2006. Their babies should have a nice mix of yellow and green.

“Morel” was produced by Janet Hickner in 2003. Her parents are the well-known Sissy and Rodney. I hope to find a nice high-yellow male to pair her with in the fall of 2006.

“Flavor” was produced by Hillary Webb in 2004. Some of her siblings are very high yellow. She has kept some of her yellow coloration.

“Sony’s Jewel” was produced by Hillary Webb in 2001. This guy is absolutely stunning. He’s got a nice even mixture of yellow and green with electric blue running down his back. I’ve had my eye on him ever since I started putting together my breeding group. He’s changed hands several times over the years and now has a permanent spot in my collection. In the fall of 2006 I hope to pair him up with “Morel”. I think this pairing holds excellent potential for tricolored offspring.

“Stillwater” was produced by Greg Maxwell. This animal is a product of the 2005 “Zulu” x “Jewel” pairing. He has turned into a very attractive snake with quite a bit of white flecking. Check out those blood-red eyes!

GM05.36
ID#: GM05.36

“Kit Burns” was produced by Greg Maxwell. This animal is a product of the 2005 “Mr. Jade” x “Blue Diamond” pairing. This snake has developed pronounced blue triangles like it’s mother. She also has a nice blaze of yellow across her face. I hope to pair this animal with another classic Sorong-Type.

Chondrynamite
ID#: GM06.40

“Mint Chip” comes from Greg Maxwell’s well-known Merauk outcross x Pepper clutch. So many of the animals from this clutch have turned into stunning adults. Mint chip is no exception. She has lots of mite speckling against a blue-green background. The potential for her to be carrying a gene for albinism makes her a very special animal. Currently, I’m thinking of pairing her with Chondryno-mite to develop a melanistic line. Depending on whether or not her father is carrying the albino gene, I may try to prove her out some time in the future.

AK06.16
ID#: AK06.16

“Primavera” was produced by Andrew Kelly, and comes from one of the finest high-yellow pairings ever. The animal’s mother, cleopatra, is about 90% yellow with a nice green patch running down the middle of her back. The animal’s father is from the OS line and doesn’t have a single green scale on him! Primavera’s contrasting yellow and green coloration give her a striking appearance.

I’m convinced that “Chondryno-mite” was destined to be part of my collection. The first time I saw him, I hesitated on purchasing him because of his unknown background and he was sold to someone else. Several months later, he was back in the same pet store. The first sale didn’t work out for some reason and I couldn’t let him pass me up a second time. He’s right up there with some of the most beautiful chondros I’ve seen. When he’s ready, Chondryno-mite will be paired up with Mint chip. The possibility of melanistic offspring between these two is very exciting.
